Christopher Blackmore

Actor-Writer-Improv Artist-Theatre Maker

Christopher is a peculiar actor, writer, improv artist and theatre-maker. He has been working as a professional, full-time actor for over 7 years; primarily in theatre, immersive theatre, film and commercials. He has performed in predominant roles at the Royal Albert Hall, Her Majesties Theatre, The Cockpit, and Pleasance. Furthermore, he has appeared in commercials for Bold, Thorpe Park (stills), UNILAD and Nationwide.

Christopher has always been interested in writing and creating and is a freelance Experience Manager for Surrey-based creative company R Space Productions. He co-wrote the award-winning scare attraction ‘Deathcell’ and is the writer for its sequel experience. He has also worked as a Story Consultant for immersive dining company Gingerline.

Recently, Christopher has taken a more active role in theatre-making. In 2020, he created works for two festivals, as well as wrote and produced a short audio horror story for CAST. He is endlessly excited about interactive theatre and the potential of digital theatre. The themes that influence his work the most are surreal horror, gallows humor and finding the morbid in the mundane.

Christopher loves collaborating with creative individuals, from all walks of life, and cannot wait to connect with more local creatives!
